Playlabs

Playlabs is a 4-session mentorship programme for artists to test programmes with a diverse group of children from Superhero Me’s community and aims to equip them with basic know-hows of adapting their work for a group of children with mixed abilities. Playlabs’ first run took place from Oct – Dec 2019 with 23 artists/arts groups who were introduced to our Readiness Framework, assisted in observation sessions as facilitators, received consultation from Superhero Me’s programme team and carried out a 45-minute programme.

The team is currently developing a toolkit of our inclusive arts practice which incorporates experiences from Playlabs. Stay tuned!
